Although compact, the bizhub PRO C6000 and C7000 have a robust all-metal construction and are suitable for high monthly output volumes. Simple operation make the compact bizhub PRO C6000 and C7000 ideal for the central reprographic market. Programming for example is straightforward and intuitive via the large full-colour operator panel that provides clear and easy access to all functions.

The bizhub PRO C6000 and C7000 have a robust eight-beam laser engine for eight bit full colour resolution at 1200 by 1200dpi. Image quality control has been automated to make operation simple and easy. A newly developed short interval stability control monitors image consistency on the bizhub PRO C6000 and C7000 during continuous printing without affecting performance. Corrections are fully automatic and improve the stability of the image quality, while the whole process considerably enhances production efficiency. Automated colour management tools increase productivity and streamline workflows with calibration that is completely hands-free, allowing operators to focus on job productivity.

Paper processing for the bizhub PRO C6000 and C7000 is fast and reliable. Advanced paper feeding technology allows extensive media flexibility supporting a wide range of substrates up to including paper up to 300gsm, coated paper, card and digital offset stock. With up to 7,500 pages maximum input capacity these systems can easily handle long print runs. Advanced features like mixplex and mixmedia also guarantee professional results for complex print jobs.

The bizhub PRO C6000 and C7000 utilise Konica Minolta’s Simitri HD polymerised toner for enhanced image quality and low-temperature fusing even on thick paper, creating picture perfect prints, in both duplex and standard printing modes. Konica Minolta has also equipped the bizhub PRO C6000 and C7000 with a mechanical decurler designed to reduce curl through the paper path. Where required the system performance can be enhanced with a unique optional humidification decurler which can elevate the moisture content in the paper and further reduce curling and static charge.

A choice of print controllers is available for the versatile bizhub PRO C6000 and C7000. Konica Minolta’s own controller, the IC-601 offers affordable colour management and job processing as well as extensive integration with Konica Minolta applications, including the Printgroove application suite. The IC-601 provides full panel integration of controller operation. In addition two external controllers are supported. The Fiery IC-306 controller and the Creo IC-307 controller provide options for more sophisticated applications such as graphic arts.

In common with the entire Konica Minolta professional production print system range, the bizhub PRO C6000 and C7000 offer a flexible choice of online finishing options including hole punching, folding, stapling, saddle stitching and booklet making.
