Do I need to Outsource our IT?
Are you looking for a straightforward and honest guide to outsourcing? Read our Beginner’s Guide here.
Think of an outsourcing relationship in the way you would a marriage – something to be carefully considered and not rushed into!
An outsourcing relationship that goes wrong is more trouble than it’s worth. Concorde wants you to be satisfied with the partnership we offer long after we’re at the end of our first year. We need you to be convinced that outsourcing is right for your business, because we take full accountability for our relationship.
We will happily provide a full outsourcing service, but please consider the following first:
- What made you think about outsourcing as a solution? Make sure you understand the core reason behind your dissatisfaction – you might find that an improved set up or upgraded hardware offers a better solution.
- Perhaps the systems you’re running are fine, but your strategy is less refined. In this instance, one-off strategic support may point your in-house team in the right direction. Read more about implementing an IT strategy here.
We never want to turn away customers at Concorde, but we want to make sure that our outsourcing clients are ones that will really benefit from the service.
Before considering outsourcing, take this plan of attack.
- If you don’t have an IT strategy, then develop one!
- Use Concorde’s Network Healthcheck to assess the stability of your current network, including servers, operating systems, PCs, software etc.
- Put in place an action plan to minimise inefficiency and see if this resolves your outsource problems.
Even if you’re still planning to outsource, you’ll have a system that is in much better shape and your outsourcing agreement will be simpler to put in place.
Now take a look at the options available here when you’re ready to sign an outsourcing agreement.
